How much does a basic paint job cost at Maaco?

Question by Gabe: How much does a basic paint job cost at Maaco?
I have a 97 neon that has spots where the pain peeled or something. The car is black and the spots are white it looks weird haha. would they have to repaint the whole car or would it just be the spots that are pealed? How much would it cost to repaint the whole car at Maaco? thanks

I would have the whole car repainted. A basic paint job should only be about 200 dollars.

    I think the cheapest way to go is to do all the prep-work yourself.
    Do the body work fill in the holes and sand the whole car yourself.
    Just let them paint it.
    For you to do it yourself would probably cost to much.
    You would need to make a paint booth and you can’t breath the paint vapors they will kill you.
    You would also need pressure breathing equipment, then you still have to get a good paint gun and all that.
    You’re not going to do this for a living so it just would pay to get all that.

    Maaco shops are all independently owned.
    The quality of the work depends on the ownership and management, but they all have to follow the rules, so if you don’t like the job they did point it out and have them fix it before you take the car back.
